Hi there, I’m Simba — a sweet, gentle boy with a heart full of love! I came to the shelter as an owner surrender through no fault of my own, and now I’m hoping to find my new forever home.

I’m an affectionate and gentle dog who can be a little nervous when meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations, so I’d do best in a home with children 12 years and older — just to make sure everyone knows to give me a little space while I settle in. Once I feel comfortable, I’ll be your loyal shadow and best friend!

I recently had surgery to repair a hernia, but I’m fully healed and feeling great — ready to take on the world (or at least the couch for some snuggles!). I love people and get along well with familiar dogs. It’s been said that I’m housebroken, though I may need a quick refresher in a new environment. I’m also crate trained but used to having free run of the house.
