Hi Rescue Friends,
Sadly, this year H.A.L.O. has seen a huge increase in heartworm cases. In 2019, H.A.L.O. had 6 dogs positive for heartworms but this year, we have provided medical treatment for over 38 dogs suffering from this deadly disease. Thank you to our amazing foster families who provide a quiet space for them to heal.
