H.A.L.O.’s Longest Resident
Meet Bruiser. I have been in the shelter for over 1,095 days.
Found on the Georgia Mountains with his sister in 2010, Bruiser spent the first seven years of his life in a family until a divorce brought him back to the shelter.
Not having had a lot of training outside of his one quiet family, he suffered from socialization around new people. H.A.L.O.’s Fresh Start Program has brought this “Misfit” around and if given the chance he is sure to make someone the perfect companion.
I’d prefer to be the one and only dog in your life,
but I do like cats… a lot!
Children are too rambunctious for me as I am now older, set in my ways, and prefer all food to be mine. No sharing!
My hobbies include; snuggles in bed, long walks, belly rubs and car rides. Please watch out for the squirrels during our walks. I just can’t help myself sometimes!
My wish is to spend the rest of my days with my own person.
My adoption fee is $0- Sponsored by an Angel!
H.A.L.O.’s Rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm tested, fecal tested and microchipped before being placed in your home. They also come with the rabies tag required by Indian River County. Our adoption fees help cover these costs.
