Penelope came to us after the only owner she ever knew was placed into a nursing home, and she’s been patiently waiting for a second chance at love ever since. From the day she arrived, Penelope has had chronic congestion that gives her a signature snort—think tiny bulldog vibes in cat form! We’ve explored multiple medications and procedures, but nothing has fully cleared it up. She’s currently on one final medication trial, but we feel it’s time to find her a home that will love her just the way she is.

Despite her snuffly nose, Penelope is an absolute sweetheart. She’s adorable, affectionate, and sports a charming little nub tail that only adds to her unique appeal. All she wants is someone to call her own—a warm spot on the couch and a kind human who sees the beauty in her quirks.
