About Me:  Panda is a stunning cattle dog mix with a heart full of love—she’s just waiting for the right person to help her feel safe enough to share it. Life at the shelter has been overwhelming for her, and she’s still learning to come out of her shell, but behind her shyness is a truly loyal, affectionate companion. Once she trusts you, Panda enjoys going on walks, snuggling up for cuddles, and even bouncing on trampolines! She’s a dog who finds joy in small moments, and with patience and love, she will blossom into an incredible companion. She’s also a big fan of snacks, which is a great way to earn her trust!

Panda is an exit seeker and a flight risk, so she will require a secure, fenced yard to help keep her safe. She is nervous around new animals, but has done well with other dogs and cats once given time to adjust. Because of her sensitive nature, we recommend a home with children 8 and older who can understand her need for patience and gentle interactions. She does have some fears of loud noises like thunder and fireworks, but she’s comforted by snuggling under blankets with her favorite people. Her loyalty runs deep, and once she knows she’s safe, she will be your devoted friend for life.
