Grant is a 1-year-old terrier and “who knows what else” mix who’s back with us after being adopted as a puppy due to no fault of his own. Now this short king with a long body and big personality is on the lookout for his forever home!
Grant is fully housebroken and will also use potty pads if needed. He’s used to having free roam of the house and isn’t a fan of being crated, but as long as your home is puppy-proofed, he’s a respectful little roommate. He loves fetch, his toy collection, and soaking up all the pets and attention you’re willing to give.
In his first home, Grant played well with a small dog and definitely enjoys the company of pups his own size. At the shelter, he’s been a bit scared of bigger dogs (even friendly ones) and wary of cats, so any new friends will need to be introduced slowly and patiently. With time, he warms up and may become a playful companion.
He’s sweet, snuggly, and affectionate—with one small weakness: thunder! Stormy nights call for a cozy blanket and some reassurance from his favorite human.
If you’re looking for a low-riding, fun-loving buddy with a big heart and stubby legs to match, Grant’s your guy!
