Hi, I’m Stella! ✨

I’m a 6-year-old husky diva who is equal parts snuggle bug, chatterbox, and drama queen (hey, I am a husky, after all!). I was recently returned to the shelter when my previous family wasn’t able to take care of some unexpected dental issues, but they wanted me to be somewhere I could get the treatment I needed. Thanks to the amazing vets here, I’m now back to flashing my gorgeous husky smile!

Here’s the scoop: during a routine dental, the vets found some concerns with my jaw bone. After a biopsy and a few tooth extractions, they discovered I have periodontitis—locally extensive, but thankfully not something scary like cancer. No one’s really sure what caused it (maybe past trauma, maybe nutrition), but what it means is that my future family should be ready to keep an eye on my dental health. I should avoid really hard chew toys, but don’t worry—I’ll never say no to a softer snack, especially fruit. 🍎🍌

I am housebroken and know how to “sit” and “shake paw” like a pro.

I live for belly rubs and thrive on attention and affection.

I love to “talk” to my people—you’ll always know what’s on my mind!
