Howdy, friends! I’m Hank — a young, sweet Texas boy with a heart full of love and a story that’s still being written. I came to H.A.L.O. after being found tied to a post at a dog park back in Texas. Thankfully, Animal Control stepped in to help me, and now I’m here looking for the happy ending I deserve.

Even though my past is a bit of a mystery, one thing’s for sure — I’m a good boy through and through. I’ve been nothing but friendly since arriving, and I’ve done well meeting both cats and other dogs here at the shelter. I’m gentle, affectionate, and eager to be someone’s loyal companion.

I recently began my heartworm treatment, which means I need to keep my heart rate low while I recover. Because of that, I’m not available for visits just yet — but don’t worry! I’ll be ready to meet adopters and get back to my normal activities on January 8, 2026.
