Hi there, I’m Lady — a name that suits me perfectly, if I do say so myself! I’m gentle, elegant, and sweet-natured… but don’t be fooled, I also have a silly side that shines through when I’m chasing squirrels (or, more accurately, watching them in pure fascination).

I’m a loyal, faithful companion who loves nothing more than spending time with my favorite humans. Car rides are one of my absolute favorite things — I’ll stick my head out the window and let the breeze ruffle my ears with pure joy! When we’re home, I’m happiest lying in the sunshine or lounging on the couch next to you. I’m big on naps and comfort, so you’ll rarely catch me choosing a hard floor over a soft blanket or bed.

I love going for neighborhood walks and spending time in the yard (especially if I can do a little digging here and there). A fenced yard would be wonderful, but it’s not a must — I’m just happy being outside with you! I do have a bit of a protective streak, though… the lawn guys, pool cleaner, and delivery drivers all make me nervous. I take my role as “protector of the home” very seriously.

When it’s time to wind down, I know exactly what “night night” means and will happily settle in for bedtime. I’m housebroken and know my basic manners — sit, paw, and lay down — and I’m always eager to please. I enjoy milk bones and chew toys, but don’t expect me to play fetch — I’m still trying to figure that one out!

I’d do best in a home without very small children, since anyone under about four feet tall tends to make me a little anxious. I’m looking for someone who appreciates a devoted, affectionate, slightly goofy Lady to share life’s quiet (and sunny!) moments with.
