Meet Bean – Your Loyal Little Shadow ☀️🐾

Bean is a 5-year-old Dachshund mix with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. She’s the kind of dog who forms a deep bond with her person — loyal, affectionate, and happiest when she’s by your side.

Originally adopted from H.A.L.O. after the loss of a beloved dog, Bean joined a home hoping to be a companion for another pup. Over time, it became clear that while Bean loves people deeply, she’s more of a “people dog” than a “dog’s dog.” She prefers to be the only pet in the home so she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. She’s not aggressive — just selective — and truly thrives when she can be the center of someone’s world.

Bean is a smart cookie who loves to learn and show off her skills! She knows sit, stay, break (her release word), give paw, speak, lay down, bed, crate, and watch me. She enjoys her daily walks, curling up for naps, and especially sunbathing — she takes her lounging very seriously!

Her current family says, “I’ve grown to love Bean deeply, and my only goal is to see her happy. She’s such a special little dog and will make the perfect companion for anyone looking for a devoted, affectionate shadow.”

A few care notes: Bean has dewclaws that need to be trimmed regularly, as they can grow into her paw pads if left unmanaged.
