Meet Freya, an American Bully mix with a big personality, a soft heart, and a serious love for belly rubs. She came to H.A.L.O. through no fault of her own after her owners sadly became homeless and could no longer care for her. Freya is now ready to trade chaos for comfort in a loving, understanding home.
Freya is a water-obsessed, food-motivated couch potato who prefers lounging and snuggling over long walks (daytime strolls only, please—she’s not a fan of the dark, thunder, or loud noises). She loves being outside but is also a digger, door-darter, and occasional escape artist, so secure yards and mindful exits are a must.
Inside, Freya rules the couch and adores blankets… though she sometimes chews them (supervised blankie time only!). She’s housebroken, crate trained-ish, and when crated will happily pull in anything within reach to chomp on—so keep tempting items out of reach. She loves to chew, destroy beds for fun, and nibble a bit when she plays.
Freya gets along well with dogs and cats as far as we can tell, but she vehemently dislikes being restrained for medical care and will need to be muzzled at the vet.
If you’re looking for a goofy, splash-loving, cuddle-first kind of dog who will happily share your couch (and steal your heart), Freya just might be your girl 🐾💙
