I’m a senior pit bull mix with a beautiful brindle coat, a very sugar-sweet face, and a heart that’s still full of love. I was adopted from H.A.L.O. many years ago when I was a much younger girl, and recently I found my way back after being surrendered to an animal control in another county. I can’t tell you much about what happened—but I can tell you I’m still the same gentle, loving Olive I’ve always been.

Even though parts of my story are a mystery, I’ve been friendly with dogs and cats here at the shelter, and the humans say my calm, kind nature would make me a wonderful companion for people of all ages. I really just want to be near my people, soaking up affection and giving it right back.

A little health update from me: when I arrived, I had a mass on my belly, but it was fully removed and biopsied—and the results came back benign (whew!). I also recently had a dental polish, so my smile is now just as sparkling as my personality ✨

I probably still remember my house manners too—after all, I left H.A.L.O. almost a decade ago and lived in a home for many years. One small warning though… when treats come out, I get very excited, so please watch your fingers—I promise it’s enthusiasm, not bad intentions!
