Meet Castiel — “Cass” to his friends 💙
Cass was with H.A.L.O. a few years ago and, for reasons we never quite understood, this amazing boy struggled to find a home. When he finally did, we thought his happily-ever-after had arrived. Sadly, his beloved adopter recently had to move into assisted living and was heartbroken that Cass could not come along. Now, through no fault of his own, Cass is searching for a family once again.
This handsome medium-sized guy is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He loves to run, race around the yard, play tug-o-war, and go on adventures, but he’s just as happy curling up beside his favorite person for cuddles and belly rubs. Intelligent, attentive, and full of personality, Cass has a goofy sense of humor that shines once he feels comfortable. He enjoys car rides, is crate trained, and has been trustworthy free-roaming the house when home with his people.
Cass was rescued as a puppy and raised in an active home, and his loyalty to his humans runs deep. He can be nervous around loud vehicles like motorcycles and big trucks, and he would do best in an adult-only home, or home with older children who understand his boundaries, as he can become overstimulated around young children and protective over toys.
For the right person, Cass will be more than just a dog — he’ll be a devoted companion, adventure buddy, and best friend all rolled into one. 🐾
