Meet Springer – the little dog with a BIG personality and an even bigger toy collection! 🐾

Springer is a young Chihuahua mix who first made the journey from Puerto Rico to H.A.L.O. back in 2024. She was adopted and thought she had found her forever home, but life had other plans. Her owner recently returned her because they are elderly and no longer able to care for her, and now Springer is back with us wondering where her next family is.

If you’re looking for a tiny dog who acts like everyone is her long-lost best friend, Springer is your girl. She is ridiculously friendly with every person she meets and greets strangers like she’s been waiting all day just to see them. No shyness here!

Her greatest joy in life? Squeaky toys. Seriously, if it squeaks, it’s automatically the most exciting thing in the world.

Springer will need some help with house training as she adjusts to a new home, so she’s looking for a patient family willing to establish a routine and give her a little guidance. The good news is that she’s still young, eager for attention, and very motivated by praise and playtime.

Springer has already lost one home through no fault of her own, and we’d love nothing more than to see this cheerful little girl finally land in a home that can keep her forever.
