Corn Fritter arrived at H.A.L.O. with his best friend, Black Mamba, after the two were found wandering together wearing collars and leashes. It was clear they had belonged to someone, and we held onto hope that their family would come looking for them. Sadly, no one ever did. While we can’t change their past, we can help Corn Fritter find the future he’s been waiting for—a home where he’ll never have to wonder if he’s been forgotten again.
At just 10 months old, Corn Fritter is all the things young dogs should be: happy, goofy, playful, and full of life. He loves making new friends, exploring everything around him, and is always ready for the next game or adventure. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his wagging tail has a way of making everyone around him smile. Like any young pup, he’ll benefit from continued training, plenty of exercise, and a family that will embrace all the fun (and occasional mischief!) that comes with raising a teenage dog.
Based on his temperament testing here at the shelter, Corn Fritter appears to do well with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a great candidate for a variety of homes.
Corn Fritter has already shown us that, despite being let down by people once before, his heart is still wide open. He hasn’t given up on finding the family that’s meant for him—and we haven’t either. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to grow alongside your family and fill your home with laughter, Corn Fritter is ready to meet you.
