Meet Socks—a ridiculously lovable, super-fast, cuddle-loving little athlete who is ready to find his person! 🧦❤️

Our best guess is that Socks is a Whippet/Pit mix, which means he has the speed of a racehorse, the affection of a Velcro dog, and the goofy charm of both breeds. And when we say fast, we mean SO. FAST. Once those legs get moving, good luck keeping up! 😂

As much as Socks loves to run and play, his favorite place is right next to his person. He is affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when he gets to be part of whatever you’re doing. He patiently waits for his person to come home and is then more than ready for attention, affection, and snuggles. 🥰

Socks is a total good boy who knows sit, lay down, jump, and roll over, is housebroken, and considers chew bones to be the best invention ever. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, and based on our interactions with him, we don’t expect him to have any issues with respectful children, either.

Socks came to us because his family wasn’t able to give him the attention he needs or comfortably provide for him financially. Now, we’re looking for someone who can give this sweet boy the companionship he loves so much. He’d make a fantastic adventure buddy who can run and play with you, then happily curl up beside you afterward.

There is one thing Socks takes very seriously: THUNDER. ⛈️ He is not a fan of storms and may need medication during bad weather to help take the edge off.
