Meet Wren, a 1.5-year-old reddish-brown hound mix with a nose for adventure, a whole lot of energy, and a heart ready to find her forever home!

Wren arrived with her best pal, Finch, after volunteers at a local horse sanctuary found the pair wandering as strays. They had reportedly seen these two roaming the area many times before and believed they may have been dumped. Whatever their past may have been, Wren is ready to put it behind her and start the next chapter of her life!

True to her hound heritage, Wren is curious, energetic, and always ready to investigate what smells interesting. She does well with other dogs and has proven to be a friend to cats, too. We think she’d do best with children 5 years and older, mostly because this girl has ENERGY—and she may accidentally turn little legs into hurdles during one of her enthusiastic adventures!

Wren would love a family who enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready for a dog who wants to run, play, explore, and then come home for some well-earned affection. She’s young, fun, and full of personality, and we have a feeling she’s going to make someone a pretty fantastic adventure buddy.
