At 5 months old, Ash is still learning the rules of civilized society. Things like “don’t chew that,” “feet belong on the floor,” and “the squirrel isn’t actually inviting you to chase it” are all works in progress.

This handsome brindle-and-white boy came to us from a veterinary clinic with his sisters, Lily and Poppy. We don’t know how they got there or what life looked like before, but we do know that Ash is a sweet puppy who just needs a little time to settle in before showing off his fun-loving personality.

Once he gets comfortable, the shy puppy disappears and the goofy kid comes out to play.

We suspect Ash is some combination of Bull Terrier and Malinois-type breeds, which means his future family should be prepared for a dog with both brains and energy. Lots of energy. The kind of energy that says, “What are we doing next?” immediately after finishing the last activity.

Ash will thrive with people committed to training, socialization, exercise, and helping him channel all that puppy enthusiasm into becoming a fantastic adult dog. He’s not looking for perfection—just someone willing to invest the time and patience he deserves.
