Barlie is a stunning young Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix who’s always up for some outdoor fun. She loves chasing sticks, riding shotgun on car rides, and exploring the world with her people. If you’re the outdoorsy type, she’ll be your new favorite adventure buddy!

Barlie is sweet and social with other dogs but can be timid when meeting new people—especially men and small, energetic kids who move fast and make loud noises. Because of this, we’ve listed her as needing a home with children over 5. That said, she did great with the gentle children she met at the groomer, so with a slow and calm introduction, she could do well with younger kids too.

Barlie came to us after her previous family’s long work hours left her crated for much of the day. Because of that, we’re not sure if she’s fully housebroken just yet. She’s smart and eager to please, though—she already knows sit, stay, and shake! Just be ready for her mischievous side—this girl has a thing for socks and will happily “help” with laundry if you’re not watching.

While a fenced yard isn’t required, Barlie would absolutely love the space to run and play. With a little patience, supervision, and guidance, this fun-loving pup is sure to blossom into the perfect companion. Come meet her and see if your home is the one she’s been waiting for!
