Some dogs are all energy, some dogs are all couch potato… and then there’s Beautiful, who has mastered the art of being both.

Beautiful is a 4-year-old Golden Retriever/Pit Bull mix whose breed is actually confirmed—her previous family owned both of her parents! After her family tried their best to keep her within the family, landlord restrictions ultimately brought her to H.A.L.O., where she’s now searching for a forever home of her own.

This sweet girl is housebroken, well-behaved, and generally pretty relaxed for her age. She’s happy to hang out by your side, supervise household activities, and soak up affection. But don’t be fooled by her calm demeanor—when the mood strikes, she’ll grab a toy and remind everyone that she still knows how to have a good time!

Beautiful can be a little shy in new situations, so we’d recommend a home with children ages 8 and up who can give her time to settle in. Once she’s comfortable, her loving and gentle personality takes center stage.

While she hasn’t lived with other dogs or cats recently, she’s done well with both during her shelter evaluations and has gotten along with them in the past.

Beautiful has already had enough changes in her life. Now she’s looking for a family that will give her what every good dog deserves: a comfy place to nap, a toy box to raid, and people to love for the rest of her days. 🐾
