When Black Mamba first arrived at H.A.L.O., she wasn’t alone. She and another young dog were found wandering together, both wearing collars and leashes—a heartbreaking reminder that someone once cared for them. We waited, hoping their family would come looking, but no one ever did. Now, this sweet 10-month-old girl is ready to leave that chapter behind and start a new one with a family who will love her forever.
Black Mamba is everything you would hope for in a young dog. She’s playful, curious, affectionate, and always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure. Whether she’s chasing a toy, exploring the yard, or happily soaking up attention from everyone she meets, her joyful spirit is impossible to miss. She still has all the excitement and energy that comes with being a puppy, so she’ll thrive with a family that’s ready to help her continue learning and growing.
One of the things we love most about Black Mamba is how well-rounded she seems to be. Based on her temperament testing here at the shelter, she appears to do well with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a wonderful fit for many different kinds of homes.
Black Mamba doesn’t know why no one came back for her—but she hasn’t let that dim her bright, loving personality. She’s still hopeful, still trusting, and still waiting for someone to choose her. Could you be the happy ending she’s been waiting for?
