💕 Meet Callie! 🐾

If affection were a full-time job, Callie would be employee of the month every single time! This 2½-year-old Pit Bull mix is a people-loving sweetheart who wants to be wherever the action is, preferably right beside you and soaking up every bit of attention you’re willing to give. Toys are a big hit, too, and she’s always ready to turn an ordinary day into playtime!

Callie’s young, full of life, and still figuring out how to channel all that enthusiasm. Sometimes her excitement comes with four paws leaving the ground, so she’ll need a family willing to help her polish her manners and learn that keeping her feet on the floor earns the best rewards. She already knows sit and down, and with patient, consistent guidance, she has plenty of room to grow!

Life had a change of plans for Callie though, as her energetic greetings became difficult for her family to manage due to a household member’s health needs. Callie will thrive with someone who can safely keep up with her youthful energy and give her the structure she needs. She’s not fully housebroken or crate-trained yet, and she can get into mischief when left alone, so she’ll need a little extra patience as she learns her new routine. She may also need some encouragement when it comes to car rides as well, which haven’t been her favorite experience so far!

Callie is a young dog with so much love to give and so much still to learn. With a little direction, plenty of play, and a person who appreciates a girl who wears her heart on her sleeve, she has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
