Meet Chimi (black and tan, Female) & Changa (light tan, Male)—the dynamic duo that’s better together! Just like their names suggest, these two are the complete package, and they’re searching for a forever home where they can stay side by side.

Found as strays, no one ever came to claim them, so their past is mostly a mystery. We estimate they’re around 6 years old, but one thing is certain—they absolutely love each other.

Like many Chihuahuas, they’re a little shy in new situations and with new people. Give them a day or two, plenty of patience, and lots of love, and they’ll reward you with loyal companionship and endless snuggles. Because of their timid nature, they’d do best in a home with children 8 years and older.

Both dogs seem like they could do well with another respectful canine companion. Changa has been a little stiff around other dogs at the shelter, but we believe that’s simply due to shelter stress. Chimi, however, has shown us that she’d probably prefer a home without cats.
