Meet Cinnamon Toast Crunch — or just “Toast” to her friends. 🐾
This sweet senior chihuahua mix has been through more than her fair share, but you’d never guess it by her gentle spirit and endearing little smile (courtesy of a previously broken jaw that healed with character). Toast came to us scared and shivering after being found in the middle of a rainstorm, missing patches of fur and clearly having seen better days. But since then, her coat has filled back in, and so has her spark!
Toast is calm, loving, and simply looking for a soft place to land. She thrives on quiet companionship, cozy naps, and soft food (which she’ll need for life due to that quirky jaw of hers). She recently had two mammary masses removed—one was more aggressive and taken out entirely, while the other was partially removed. Our vet is open to finishing the job if needed, but wanted to give this little trooper a chance to rest and recover first. While there’s always a possibility of new masses forming, Toast’s current health is stable, and she’s enjoying each day with tail wags and heart-melting cuddles.
Toast is currently in a loving foster home, but she’s still on the lookout for someone to call her own permanently. She would love nothing more than to spend her golden years in a safe, quiet, and caring home. Could you be her soft place to land?
Requirements: Martingale Collar; Mammary Masses
