🐾 Meet Cody — The Island Boy with a Big Heart! 🐾

Cody is a 1 year and 3 month old potcake from the Bahamas, which basically means he’s a Caribbean original mix with a whole lot of charm. This handsome young guy is ready to trade in island stray life for couch naps, belly rubs, and a family of his very own.

Cody has been a friendly, happy presence at the shelter, always excited to see people and ready to soak up attention. He’s still young, which means he’s got that fun, playful energy and a curiosity about the world around him. Life is one big adventure in Cody’s eyes!

He’s also been doing well with other dogs and kids, making him a great potential fit for many different families. When he met a cat here at the shelter, he did not show aggression, which is always a nice sign.

Because Cody came to us without much background information, we can’t promise he’s fully housetrained yet, but he keeps his kennel area clean, which is a great sign that he’ll likely pick up a routine quickly once he’s in a home.

Cody is at that perfect young age where he’s past the tiny puppy stage but still has so much life, love, and personality ahead of him. With a little guidance and a lot of love, he’s sure to grow into an amazing companion.
