Ducky came to us as a blind stray in rough shape, but this sweet senior has shown incredible resilience. Now living in a loving foster home, she’s gaining confidence and comfort each day.
At first, Ducky wandered constantly, learning her way by feel and scent. Now she happily naps on her bed or the carpet, sleeps through the night, and is housebroken but knows to use potty pads if she wakes up before her fosters do in the morning. She’s learning the layout of the house, knows where the treat drawer is, and has started finding her foster parents when she wants companionship.
Ducky walks like a little bumper car—if she bumps into something, she backs up and tries again. She enjoys slow walks and sniffing the world, though she can be startled by wind or sudden plants. She’s a quick learner and a gentle presence.
She’s looking for a quiet, patient home where she can keep building trust and feel safe. If you have room in your heart for a special girl who just wants a soft place to land, Ducky is ready to meet you. 🐾💕
