Meet Finch, a 1.5-year-old mystery mix with a seriously unique look and a personality to match! 🐾

Finch came to us alongside his pal Wren after volunteers at a local horse sanctuary found the pair wandering as strays. They had reportedly seen the two roaming the area many times and believed they may have been dumped. We may never know exactly where Finch came from, but we’re pretty sure his future is going to be much brighter!

As for what this handsome guy actually is… that’s a bit of a guessing game! 😂 Our best guess is Catahoula/Schnauzer mix—he has the shaggy, scruffy coat we’d expect from a Schnauzer, paired with a gorgeous merle pattern and heterochromia that give him that unmistakable Catahoula look. Basically, Finch appears to have been assembled from a collection of some of the coolest dog features available!

And his personality is just as lovable as his looks. Finch does well with other dogs and cats, and he’s a young guy with plenty of energy and personality. Because he’s such an active boy, we feel he’d do best in a home with children 5 years and older who can keep up with his enthusiasm.

Finch would love a family ready to give him the exercise, training, attention, and adventures that come with having a young pup. He’s ready to be someone’s best friend, sidekick, adventure buddy, couch companion, and professional household goofball.
