Oh hiiii, I’m Gemma 👑💅 — a 3-year-old English Bulldog with a squishy face, royal confidence, and a strong commitment to couch lounging. Most of my day is spent perfecting the art of relaxing. I love hopping onto the couch, cuddling close, and nuzzling you with my smooshy face until you give me attention. I’m friendly, docile, and pretty unbothered by life… except for thunder. Thunder is highly unnecessary.

I do get playful bursts of zoomies (purely for entertainment — I never run away). Towels are top-tier toys, I occasionally headbutt random objects, and yes… I can be a little messy at mealtime. It’s part of my bulldog charm. I’m housebroken and get along well with both dogs and cats, even though I didn’t live with other pets before. I’m easygoing and social — just please remember I am a queen and do not appreciate being talked back to.

I came to the shelter when my owner had to move in with a family member to be their caretaker, and sadly pets weren’t allowed. Since I’m an English Bulldog, I need a home familiar with my care. That means no long time outside in the heat, regular cleaning of my adorable face rolls, and lifelong eye drops to keep my eyes comfortable. If you’re looking for a cuddly, low-key best friend with a playful, sassy streak, I’m ready to rule your heart and your couch. 👑🐾
