Hey… I’m Harley. And yeah, I might be a little bit of a misfit—but the kind that’ll steal your heart once you earn my trust.

I’m a tiny guy with big feelings. I ended up here after my previous owner surrendered me to another county’s animal control, and then I was transferred to H.A.L.O. for a second chance. Shelter life was overwhelming for me, and when I get scared or unsure, I don’t always know how to handle it—I might try to snap or bite if I feel cornered. It’s not because I’m mean… I’m just scared. But once I feel safe? I turn into a total Velcro dog.

I’m currently in a foster home where I’m doing way better. I don’t bother the cats, and I actually warmed up to the dogs in the house before I even trusted my foster mom—but now I’m stuck to her like glue. Oh, and good news: I’m housebroken, too!

Because I tend to bolt when I’m frightened, I’ll need a fenced-in yard so I have a safe, secure place to go outside while we build our bond at a pace that works for me.
