This sweet Shih Tzu mix is the perfect blend of snuggly and spunky! Holland may be small, but she’s full of personality—she loves to run, play ball and catch, and will happily flop over for a good belly rub. She’s also incredibly loyal and protective, with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. Her previous owner even felt she had the makings of a great service dog!

Holland is currently part of our Foster-to-Adopt program due to ongoing eye issues. She has a recheck scheduled in about a month and will likely need some form of eye medication for life—but she takes it like a champ. She also has a small lump near her belly, about the size of a grape. While one vet suspected it might be a hernia, our vet believes it’s a harmless fatty cyst—nothing to worry about, just something to monitor.
