I’d like to introduce you to Jade… a tennis ball enthusiast, kiddie pool connoisseur, professional sunbather, and loyal best friend all wrapped up in one beautiful German Shepherd.

Jade is 6 years old and spent nearly her entire life with one family before they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her when they had to move into a rental with no fenced yard and breed restrictions. It wasn’t the ending anyone wanted, but now she’s hoping for a fresh start.

This girl absolutely loves being outside. Throw a ball, fill up a kiddie pool, and you’ve officially planned her perfect day. Even though she’d rather be outside soaking up the sunshine, she’s also housebroken and kennel trained, making her an easy companion indoors, too. She even recently had a dental, so her smile is sparkling and ready to win you over.

Like many German Shepherds, Jade takes her job of protecting her home seriously. She’s not a fan of lawnmowers or unfamiliar workers entering her space, so she’ll do best with a family who understands and appreciates her protective nature. With her people, though, she’s all sweetness, playtime, and unconditional love.
