Jax is a lovable, floppy-eared pup with a story that tugs at the heartstrings. He came to us after the sudden passing of the only owner he had ever known. The shelter was a tough adjustment for this sensitive soul, so he joined our Homeward Bound program. Now he’s thriving at K91 Training and Consulting, where he’s gaining confidence, learning how to be a dog again, and getting tons of love and socialization.

Jax is really coming into his own—especially when water is involved! Whether it’s chasing the hose, splashing in a kiddie pool, or strolling through the neighborhood in search of the perfect puddle, water play is his ultimate happy place.

This silly guy is all about goofy facial expressions and making you laugh. He’s housebroken, loves cow hooves filled with pumpkin (yum!), and is doing great learning to play with other dogs. While Jax is making huge strides, he can still be a little unsure in new environments and would thrive best in a calm, patient home with children 12 or older. He’s not a fan of vet visits, so we recommend using a muzzle to help him feel safe during appointments.
