Hi, I’m JoJo — your soon-to-be favorite old man with a heart of gold and just enough spunk to keep you smiling!

I may be a senior cattle dog, but I’ve still got pep in my step. I love car rides, walks, and even some playful zooms in the yard with my foster sister. At home, I’m a perfect gentleman — quiet, respectful, and content to nap, snack, or soak up pets and snuggles. I’ll follow you like a shadow, but I’m not overly needy — if I’m comfy, I’ll happily stay put.

I get along well with cats and most dogs, though I’d do best with calm, respectful companions. I can’t hear much, but I’m very attentive and quick to respond to hand signals.

I’m listed as “foster-to-adopt” because of my hypothyroidism, which just means a simple daily pill. I also finished treatment for a tick-borne bacteria (Ehrlichia), so that’s taken care of. My meds make me drink and pee a bit more than average (and sometimes dribble in my sleep), but I sleep peacefully through the night.

I’m fearless, loyal, and a little stubborn — classic cattle dog stuff — but above all, I’m a good dog who just wants a family to love.
