I’m a senior cattle dog, but don’t count me out — I still love to play! Of course, I also love to eat, nap, and get endless pets (seriously, I could lay there all day getting scritches). I’m fearless, loyal, and a little stubborn — classic cattle dog stuff — and I’ll follow you everywhere like your shadow.

I came to the shelter after my family split up and had to move where pets weren’t allowed. I get along great with other dogs, cats, and respectful kids. I’m not a fan of being restrained, so I’d do best with kids over 12 or ones who understand my boundaries.

I’m listed as foster-to-adopt because I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. It just means I take a cheap, easy pill each day, and the shelter will recheck my levels soon to make sure it’s working.I also tested positive for Ehrlichia (a tick-borne illness), but I’ve already been treated with antibiotics — it’s nothing to worry about, just something your vet should know.
