Hi, I’m Kana — a sweet, snuggly American Bully with a big heart, a big personality, and just enough sass to keep life interesting. Once I’m familiar with you, I’m all about the cuddles, the playtime, the walks, and sticking to your side like the world’s cutest shadow. I’m a high-energy girl who loves to keep busy, and I can turn anything into a game.

I can be nervous when meeting new people, especially strange men. If I’m unsure, I might give some whale eyes and even growl to let you know I’m not quite ready for attention. Because of this, I’d do best in a no-kids home, and if there are males in the household, they’ll need to come meet me several times so we can form a solid bond before I head home.

I’m also an excellent “alert system” — if someone I don’t know comes around, you’ll be the first to hear about it. Once I decide you’re my person, I’m loyal, loving, and full of personality. I’m smart, obedient, and have a silly soft spot for ice cubes (seriously, they’re the best snack ever).

I walk best on a harness instead of a collar because neck pressure makes me cough. The vet says it’s due to an elongated soft palate — common for my breed and nothing to worry about. I’m still working on my housebreaking skills, so I’ll need a patient owner to help me finish my training.

When it comes to other animals, I can be a little pushy with dogs, so any canine siblings will need to be tolerant. I shouldn’t live with cats — my prey drive just can’t resist the chase.
