Kiara may have the looks of a Labrador, but we’re pretty sure her personality came straight from the Husky factory! She’s a smart, goofy, energetic girl who loves people, playtime, treats, and adventure.

Just over a year old, Kiara came to H.A.L.O. through no fault of her own. She was briefly adopted, but unfortunately we learned that she is not cat friendly, so she’s looking for a cat-free forever home.

Kiara is currently staying with K91 Training, where she’s getting a break from the shelter environment while working on her dog skills, manners, and general training. Our hope is that she’ll find her forever family there and go straight into her new home without having to return to the shelter!

She’s crate trained, housetrained, knows basic commands, gets along with other dogs, and LOVES treats. Kiara has shown some resource guarding with toys and high-value items, so an adult-only home with experienced adopters committed to continuing her training would be the best fit.

With the right family, Kiara has all the makings of an amazing adventure buddy and loyal best friend! ❤️
