Leo 🐾

Some dogs have pasts that break your heart. Leo’s is one we can only imagine.

At just 6 months old, Leo has already been through more than any puppy should. He was rescued from a bad situation in Bahrain by a South Florida rescue before being transferred to us for a chance at a better life. We don’t know exactly what he endured, but somehow, he came through it with his sweet, playful spirit still shining.

Our best guess is Greyhound/Shepherd, but he’s definitely a mystery mix! He’s friendly, excitable, incredibly playful, and hasn’t let his difficult beginning steal his love for life. He seems like he’d do well with dogs and kids and is just a happy little guy who loves having fun.

Leo could potentially live with a cat, but his temperament test showed that he’d probably enjoy chasing one. He’s young and still learning his manners, so he’d need a family willing to patiently teach him that cats aren’t toys.

And then there’s Daisy. They’ve shared the hardest chapter of their lives together, and we’d love for them to have the chance to share the happiest one, too. We would love to see them adopted together, but we’ll consider separate homes if the right families come along.

Leo has already survived the hard part. Now he deserves a safe home, a loving family, and the chance to finally just be a puppy. 🐾❤️
