Lilo is a sweet, goofy girl bursting with love—and still figuring out the whole “being a grown-up dog” thing. Recently returned to us, Lilo’s family shared that while she’s full of personality and affection, she still needs help with house training and learning how to channel her energy in healthy ways. She’s a chewer when bored and will thrive with someone who can give her structure, supervision, and plenty of outlets for play.
That said, Lilo is a total gem for the right person. She’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly—she’ll chase tennis balls, play tug-of-war, happily hop in the bath, and even munch on ice cubes like they’re gourmet treats. When the day winds down, she’s a world-class cuddler who just wants to be in your lap, soaking up the love.
She’s curious about the world, always on alert to protect her home with a big bark and a brave heart. She’s shown interest in cats and could enjoy having a feline friend. Her dislikes? Closed doors and brooms (relatable, honestly). Her must-haves? Chew toys, bones, and someone ready to help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
If you’re patient, consistent, and ready for a fun-loving work-in-progress, Lilo will reward you with loyalty, laughs, and endless cuddles.
