This stunning young pit bull is 70lbs of muscle, love, and beach-loving energy. Menchie is house-trained, super affectionate, and used to having free roam of the house when her people are away—no crate needed!

She was returned to the shelter for being too strong and energetic for her previous family, so she’s looking for a confident, active adopter who can handle her strength. If you’re not quite strong enough to manage her on leash, a secure, fenced-in yard where she can play and burn energy is a great option.

Menchie lives for swimming, loves the beach, and would make an amazing adventure buddy. She doesn’t do well with small animals (cats, small dogs, or critters), but depending on the dog she may do well with a canine companion of her own size.

Because she still has some leftover puppy mouthiness when overstimulated, a home with kids 12 and up would be best.
