Meet Milan – From Survival to Spoiled Rotten! 🐾

Some dogs dream of a soft bed, full belly, and someone to call their own. Milan is finally getting his chance.

This handsome 6-year-old Yorkie mix came to H.A.L.O. with two other dogs after they were discovered living outside in heartbreaking conditions without reliable food or water. Thankfully, a kindhearted finder stepped in, convinced the owner to sign them over, and brought them to safety. Now, Milan is ready to trade survival mode for the good life.

Since we know very little about his past, we’re still learning who Milan is. What we do know is that he’ll thrive with a patient family willing to let him settle in at his own pace. He may need a refresher on house training or he may surprise everyone and settle right in—we simply don’t know what home life has looked like for him before now.

Milan does have a couple of medical quirks, but they certainly don’t slow him down. He has dry eye, which means he’ll need two eye drops each day (one is conveniently available over the counter), and he has a grade 2/4 luxating patella in his left rear leg, so he’s starting joint supplements to keep him comfortable and active.

What Milan is searching for isn’t extravagant. Just a cozy place to nap, regular meals, gentle hands, and someone who sees the incredible little dog behind the hardships he’s endured. He’s already survived the hardest chapter of his story—now he just needs someone to help write the happiest one yet.
