Hi, I’m Oscar!

Yes, that Oscar… but let’s clear something up right away — I am anything BUT grouchy. In fact, I might be one of the happiest guys you’ll ever meet. 😄

I was found running way too close to a busy main road (yikes!), wearing a harness and leash like I belonged to someone… but sadly, no one ever came looking for me. Now I’m safe at the shelter and ready to find a forever family who won’t let me get that close to traffic ever again.

Since I came in as a stray, my friends here don’t know much about my past. I might be housebroken… I might need a refresher course… but I can tell you this: I keep my kennel nice and clean and prefer to do my business outside like a gentleman.

Let’s talk about the fun stuff — I am a strong, high-energy, playful guy who LOVES to move! If you’re looking for a hiking buddy, backyard zoomie champion, or someone to toss a toy for approximately 700 times in a row, I’m your dude. I also give hugs. Big ones. Consider yourself warned.

I’m very food motivated (treats = yes please) and super willing to please, which means I’ll happily learn whatever you want to teach me. Training time? Awesome. Snack time? Even better. Attention? The BEST. I thrive on love and being part of the action.
