Hi there! I’m Perry — your soon-to-be adventure buddy, cuddle partner, and all-around good boy!

Life threw my last family a curveball when they found themselves between houses, and they didn’t have enough time for me anymore. So now I’m here at the shelter, tail wagging and ready to find my next forever family!

I’m a happy-go-lucky guy who loves everything — running, playing, going for walks, snuggling on the couch (preferably in your lap, even if I don’t quite fit…), and making new dog friends. I’m great on leash and super eager to please, though I could use a little more practice with my recall — apparently “come here” doesn’t always mean “run in circles first”? I’ll get there!

I’m not really afraid of anything, but I do get my feelings hurt if I’m scolded — I just want to make my people proud. I’m housebroken, have lived with both dogs and cats, and I’m used to being crated when left alone (though I might whine a little bit at first). I might also dig a little if I get bored, so a secure yard or someone who keeps me entertained would be perfect!

I’m all about car rides, swimming, and chewing on hard toys — basically, if it involves fun and family, I’m in! So if you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, affectionate dog who will fill your life with love (and maybe your lap, too), I think we’d make a pretty great team.
