Every royal story starts somewhere — and Prince’s began on an island.
This handsome 7-month-old boy traveled all the way from the British Virgin Islands with his sisters in hopes of finding a family to call his own. While his siblings all look wildly different from one another, they truly are one big mismatched family, and Prince proudly represents the “little brother with main character energy” role.
Prince is playful, goofy, and full of puppy enthusiasm once he’s comfortable — though he’s a little on the shy side when first meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations. Because of this, we think he’d do best in a home with children 8 years old or older who can respect his space while he settles in and builds confidence.
Like any puppy, Prince will need consistency, training, and guidance as he grows. He’s at that age where he’s big enough to look like he knows what he’s doing… but young enough to still make wonderfully questionable life decisions. Socks? Fascinating. Leaves blowing across the yard? Immediate emergency. Learning boundaries? Still a work in progress.
Prince also participated in a cat temperament test and did well in the sense that he showed no signs of aggression whatsoever. However, he definitely seemed interested in chasing, so whether or not he’d be a good fit for a home with cats will likely depend on the individual cat’s personality and comfort level with playful puppy behavior.
He’s ready to trade island life for couch life — preferably one with snacks, patience, and people willing to help him blossom into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.
