Pumpkin Pie is an 8-year-old female with a heart as warm as her name. When she was found as a stray, she was skinny, exhausted, and covered in mud. With good food, vet care, and plenty of love, she has made a beautiful recovery — blossoming into a healthy, calm, and incredibly sweet companion.

Pumpkin Pie is a mellow, affectionate girl who loves cozy naps, soft beds, and quiet company. She has a gentle way about her that instantly puts you at ease. She’s not demanding — she simply enjoys being near her people and soaking in the comfort of a peaceful home. Her resilience is remarkable. Despite her rough start, she remains trusting, loving, and deeply grateful for every ounce of kindness she receives.

Pumpkin Pie has now officially started her heartworm treatment, which means she must remain on strict rest and keep her heart rate as low as possible. Because of this, she cannot be seen by potential adopters at this time. Her treatment period is critical to her safety, so she’ll be taking it easy behind the scenes until she is medically cleared to visit with adopters again on February 12, 2026.

Once her treatment is complete, the shelter will also cover the cost of her spay and dental cleaning, ensuring she heads into her new life happy, healthy, and fully cared for.
