If handsome had a picture next to it, it would be Toyota! 😍

This boy is 80 pounds of muscle, good looks, and pure handsomeness. He’s definitely one of our most photogenic pups here at H.A.L.O.!

Toyota is about 5 years old and came to us as a transfer from another shelter, where he had spent nearly a year waiting for his next chapter. While we don’t know much about his early life, we do know he’s been through quite a bit.

When Toyota arrived, we learned he had a history of seizures. We also witnessed episodes here at H.A.L.O. and spent time monitoring him while figuring out the best way to manage them. After trying a few different approaches, he’s now taking Levetiracetam, an anti-seizure medication, and we’re happy to report he hasn’t had an episode since starting it!

His future family will need to understand that this medication is a lifelong commitment, but it doesn’t change how much love this handsome boy has to give.

Now, let’s talk personality! Toyota is a BIG boy who loves to play. With his size and strength, his playfulness can sometimes come across as a little much, so he’ll need someone confident, consistent, and comfortable handling a strong dog. We think he’d do best in a home with children ages 8 and up. He wouldn’t mind having a doggy friend, but cats aren’t his thing!
