Hi, I’m Tucker—a short king with big energy and even bigger puppy vibes!

I’m a young cattle dog/dachshund mix (yep, I know… what a combo!) with all the classic Heeler puppy traits: I’m mouthy, bouncy, and full of wiggles. I love to run, chew on toys, get belly rubs, and soak up every bit of affection I can get. I’m basically a ball of zoomies with a heart of gold.

Loud noises aren’t really my thing, but I’m super sweet and get along well with other animals. I just ask that when it’s time to eat, you let me enjoy my food in peace—I can be a bit protective of my meals, and giving me some space during chow time keeps everything nice and calm.

I came to the shelter because my previous family had a new baby and didn’t have enough time for a high-energy pup like me. I get it—I’m a lot! But with the right family who’s ready to guide me, play with me, and teach me the ropes, I know I’ll grow into the awesome, well-rounded dog I’m meant to be.
