If you’ve been searching for a little dog with a big heart, Winston just might be your perfect match!

This adorable 1-year-old Maltese/Poodle mix got a second chance at life after being found living in less-than-ideal conditions. Thankfully, a kindhearted person stepped in, asked his owner if they’d be willing to let him have the life he deserved, and they agreed. Now Winston is ready to find a forever family that will love him the way he always should have been.

Despite his rough start, Winston is an absolute gentleman. He’s sweet, affectionate, and has wonderful manners. We’re not sure if he’s completely housetrained, but with how eager he is to please, we think he’ll catch on quickly with a little patience and consistency.

Winston has done great meeting both cats and other dogs at the shelter, and his easygoing, gentle personality makes us think he’d do wonderfully in a home with children, too.
