Meet Zazu. ❤️
Zazu is 9 years old, and he’s spent a good part of his life with us here at H.A.L.O.
He first came to us in 2020 after sadly being found outside. It was clear that this sweet boy had been through things no dog should ever have to experience, including being used as a bait dog. His past has left him with some quirks that his future family will need to understand and be prepared for.
Zazu is a sweet boy who just wants someone to love him and give him the time, patience, and understanding he deserves. We think he’d do best with someone who has experience with dogs, especially someone who understands dogs who have experienced trauma and a difficult past.
Zazu can also become very fixated on things he loves. When he really loves something, he LOVES it, which means that object probably won’t survive for very long. Because of this, he’ll need to be supervised with toys, sticks, and really anything he gets interested in.
But underneath all of his quirks is a survivor.
Zazu is a strong boy who has overcome so much, and he deserves a life filled with love, patience, and someone who sees him for the amazing dog he is today, not just the things he’s been through.
We’re incredibly grateful that Zazu is here with us today. Now we just hope his forever person is out there waiting for him. ❤️
