H.A.L.O.’s Enrichment Center: Re-Imagining the Future of No-Kill Rescue!
H.A.L.O.’s Enrichment Center will be a human-animal service building with a centered role to support our community.
While traditional sheltering has come a long way over the years, our community needs more.
We need an education center, a temporary housing facility, more support programs, more public medical services, more foster support programs, more behavioral care in shelter and public, increased community access to emergency supplies and pet food, a lost pet reunification center, a volunteer space, an isolation space, a feline special needs center, a public meet and greet space, and more.
This multi-use facility will be a space for animals and humans to have the tools to continue to drive the no-kill movement to new heights and increase our lifesaving goals with a focus on the 10% still being euthanized in traditional shelter models.

By sponsoring an outdoor play yard, you will provide a quiet, anxiety-free environment for potential adopters to play and bond with their future pet. Interview Rooms
The Interview Rooms will be staged to simulate a home environment and will provide a fear-free space to help rehabilitate our most at-risk rescues in our Shy Dog and Fresh Start Programs. These animals have survived abuse and/or neglect and are often fearful, shy, under-socialized and behaviorally challenged. Sponsorship includes an engraved plaque, recognition at the opening event, on social media platforms and press releases. Installment options are available for sponsorships.

Education Center
The Education Center will provide a space for educational seminars aimed to educate and assist residents on responsible pet ownership featuring experienced speakers offering advice on building a good future for our pets and the humans that love them. The center will also be used to host meetings so H.A.L.O. can better serve the residents of our community and their pets. Isolation Suite
The Isolation Suite will provide an essential space for dogs and puppies that have been diagnosed with highly contagious illnesses, like parvo. This vital, lifesaving suite will have a dedicated ventilation system to prevent spread of the disease. Cat Sanctuary
The Cat Sanctuary will provide a vital space for our neonatal kittens and special needs cats. The sanctuary will house neonatal kittens who need specialized care until they are able to be moved into a foster home, as well as cats that deserve a second chance at life, especially those with physical or emotional disabilities. The Cat Sanctuary also includes a large catio for the cats to enjoy time outdoors in a safe environment. “Bone” Wading Pool
The Bone Pool will greatly assist in the rehabilitation of our rescues with physical disabilities. Additionally, it will provide a fun and enriching way for the rescues to cool off during their training sessions and pack play. Sponsorship includes an engraved plaque, recognition at the opening event, on social media platforms and press releases. Installment options are available for sponsorship.

Training Facility Namesake
The Training Facility will be used to provide much needed indoor space for the rehabilitation and training of the rescues in our Shy Dog and Fresh Start Programs who have survived abuse and/or neglect and are often fearful, shy, under-socialized and behaviorally challenged. To give them their second chance at life, they need rehabilitative programs to build love, trust and guidance so that they can become well-adjusted family pets. This facility will also serve as an area for H.A.L.O.’s disaster relief efforts, hurricane bunker, community training programs and fundraising events. Your name will be prominently displayed on the outside of the Enrichment Center and sponsorship includes recognition at the opening event, on social media platforms and press releases.
