Dear Rescue Friends,
July is my favorite month…it’s H.A.L.O.’s Anniversary and this year marks 17 years of No-Kill Rescue!
It seems like yesterday that I was up at 2am with bottle kittens and no safe place to bring them. I spent those sleepless nights searching for a solution which manifested into H.A.L.O. Rescue. Helping Animals Live & Overcome was born from a vision for a better world for animals. I knew I couldn’t do it alone, and you, our community have made these last 17 years possible.
The number I am most proud of… 19,984. This is the number of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, birds, and small/fluffy/slithery lives adopted!
17 years = 6,205 days = 3 animals per day met their human!
So, the celebration on H.A.L.O.’s Anniversary is YOU…our adopters, fosters, volunteers, and donors for your part in changing the lives of thousands of paws.
Cheers to celebrating a better world for our animals and the belief that every life deserves a second chance. Together, we can make a difference!
