As a dogo Argentina, about 20% of his breed are born deaf, and he was no exception. But the loss of hearing is no problem for him. His foster mom has taught him a few hand signals like; Sit, down, come, wait, shake and roll over! He is great with other dogs, cats, and loves children. He does very well on a leash and is almost completely crate trained. Being born deaf, he will need a lot of guidance with recall, especially because he loves to chase lizards and butterflies.
